Nicky Romero & GATTÜSO x Jared Lee – Afterglow [Protocol Recordings]

The year starts very well for lovers of Nicky Romero ‘s progressive sound . On this occasion Protocol Recordings presents us with “Afterglow”. It is a collaboration produced between the Dutchman and GATTÜSO, in which Jared Lee is present with his voice. With oscillating sounds and a scandalous descent, “Afterglow” is going to become one of the most famous songs of the upcoming festivals. Enjoy it!

Da Tweekaz – White Lines [Dirty Workz]

This duo has presented us with one of those songs that make our hair stand on end. Their style of doing hardstyle is unique, and they have embodied it once again, this time in “White Lines”, obtaining a fantastic result. But, not only the work of these two producers makes this track so good, since the female vocals provide essential good vibes. Also, we loved the way the second drop breaks wildly into a super lively rawphoric even though it looked like XTRA RAW was going to kick in.

Broken Element & Lea König – Music Is My Ecstasy [Scantraxx Silver]

Listening to this song for the first time, we couldn’t resist and got up to dance… If a track is able to do that, it means it ‘s worth it. Between the beautiful voice of Lea König and the drops of rawphoric, “Music Is My Ecstasy” has made us fall in love. The energy that the melody carries is brutal! We love fast melodies made up of short notes that rise and fall in pitch continuously. What a tune!

Fallen Shrine & HUNDRED TAURO – JUDAS [2935195 Records DK]

The prodigy from Madrid of nightcore and fast rhythms Fallen Shrine premieres this week together with HUNDRED TAURO this explosive remix of Lady Gaga’s mythical “Judas”. There are few moments in which this track the song is not exuding adrenaline from all its pores. The American singer is here dragged into a neo-rave terrain in which fast rhythms are interpolated with trance auras and hard kicks.

Spag Heddy – Spaghetti Slap [Tomato Bass]

If the year begins, let it be at full blast and hitting the table… Or in this case, a “slap”. That’s what Spag Heddy has done with no regard for his new dubstep song. It goes a bit along the line between what would be the use of a more laser beam sound in the drop to do some tearout, both the introduction and the interlude show its more melodic side. A perfect theme to make the speakers vibrate wherever it sounds.

Snavs, Fabian Mazur – Anthem

These two inseparable friends join forces again to bring us their darkest and most powerful side. With “Anthem” both show their mastery over bass music and everything that surrounds it; a whole life dedicated to a genre that undoubtedly bears many fruits. From what the artists have commented, there are many collaborations to be published from this union throughout 2022… I’m looking forward to enjoying authentic hits like “Anthem”!

Grafix – Somewhere (ft. Reiki Ruawai) [Hospital Records Limited]

One of the most acclaimed spheres of drum & bass returns with its new release, “Somewhere”, to the house of Hospital. Despite being part of the most commercial facet of drum & bass, the song brings with it an unparalleled energy, enhanced by Reiki Ruawai’s vocals, and among which we can highlight the melodic denotes typical of Grafix’s productions.

Angel Cannon – Sentinel [The Games We Play]

2022 begins for Angel Cannon in the same way that it ended, and this artist is undoubtedly a focus of attention for this year. “Sentinel” drags a bass over a slow vocal, which ends up evolving while the song picks up rhythm and ends up culminating in a hardwave rhythm drop, with that mixture that we already know between trap base and hardstyle sounds. Undoubtedly a very futuristic and energetic theme with which the artist seeks his window to captivate the biggest labels on the market.

Tinlicker – Just To Hear You Say [Anjunadeep]

House fans are in luck this week. A lot of release and good, but the new Tinlicker takes the cake without a doubt. The Dutch duo brings us this new production, part of their next album on Anjunadeep. A deep house full of emotions where the vocal section and an amalgamation of melodic elements create an intoxicating rhythm and atmosphere. Fans or not of the genre, this theme is a must!

Logistics – Vega [Hospital]

Logistics travels once again to the bowels of the most melodic drum n’ bass; this time even more so, since with his next EP he wants to bring us back to the classic sound of the Hospital label. In this first advance we hear a dnb that is energetic and elegant at the same time, which makes use of different overlapping melodies and vocal chops.
